About Katya
Katya has a strong background as a Psychologist from the University of the Americas Puebla in the city of Puebla, Mexico. She has more than 12 years of experience in the field, working with children, teenagers, parents and teachers. She uses music therapy as a tool in language therapy, working with functional dyslalia and dyslexia. She currently provides children counselling to children diagnosed with AD/HD. She also works with children’s mental support, personal safety workshops for children and emotional intelligence workshops for children. Katya is specialized in Clinical Neuropsychology, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Integral Thanatology, Logotherapy, Language Disorders and Play Therapy; as well as courses in children personal safety, emotional intelligence, play therapy for disabled children and Children’s Speech Therapy.
Her passion for the assertive development of children and adolescents led her to create a training aimed at parents and caregivers.
Originally from Orizaba, Veracruz, she currently lives in the city of Puebla, Mexico with her children, enjoying the time she spends with them along with her family, friends and work.
